Sludgie the Whale was a baby whale that accidentally swam into the canal and a kind mascot for the canal. We created the Sludgie the Whale Scavanger Hunt in his honor. By going on the hunt you learn about the canal, why it’s so dirty, hoe they are cleaning up, and about the animals and plants that live here despite it being so dirty.
